Precise strain management is not easy. It is subject to environmental factors requiring the gauge, wire resistance and temperature be adjusted. As a result, users unfamiliar with all aspects of strain management may measure the wrong information. With eStrain, the capacity to correct for lead wire resistance, temperature effects on the wire and gauge, shunt calibration and balance functions are built into the system.
